B. Dunlow & wife, To: D – E – E- D Perry Johnson State of North Carolina, Bertie County This deed made this the 15 day of February 1910, by William B. Dunlow and Lillie R. Dunlow his wife of Bertie County and State of North Carolina, of the first part to Perry Johnson of Bertie County and State of North Carolina, of the second part, witnesseth that the said William B. Dunlow and Lillie R. Dunlow his wife, in consideration of Three Hundred and Forty Dollars, to them paid by Perry Johnson, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell and convey to the said Perry Johnson his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land in Bertie County State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of Jo Charly Mizell, M.K. Dunlow, Perry Johnson and others, and known as the John Butler land and being said William B. Dunlow’s home place, containing twenty acres more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges appurtenances thereto belonging to said Perry Johnson his heirs and assigns, to their only use and behoof forever and the said William B. Dunlow and Lillie R. Dunlow his wife, covenant with said Perry Johnson his heirs and assigns, that they are seized of said premises in fee and have right to convey in fee simple, that the same are free and clear from all encumbrances and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said William B. Dunlow and Lillie R. Dunlow his wife have hereunto set their hand and seal the date above written. his William B. X Dunlow (seal) mark Lillie R.
