Between WRIGHT CONNER of the countty of Bertie and state of North Carolina of the one part and WILLIAM CONNER his SON and LEVENA his wife of the county and state afresaid of the other part witness that I the said Wright Conner do in consideration of the good will that I have for my son WILLIAM CONNER and Levina his wife to lend a certain parcel or tract of land to both of them so long as they both shall live and after both of thei deaths then I the said WRIGHT CONNER do give the same pice or parcel of land their son JAMES WRIGHT CONNER to have and to hold forever viz beginning at a Black Plum Tree in WRIGHT CONNER’S land running thence a straight line of marked trees a south course to HOWARDS line so called thence HOWARDS line to FLOWER’S line to a course water oake thence along FLOWER’S line a north course to a co??? line in HOAH MINTONS line thence a south rourse to the (south??) station coantaining by estimation fourteen acres of land be the same more or less. I the saiod WRIGHT CONNER have bargained, with and do lend the (something) land to my son WILLIAM CONNER and Levina his wife to live upon as long as they both sahll live and after both of their deaths then to their son JAMES WIRHGT CONNER to him to have and to hold him and his heirs forever, and I the said WRIGHT CONNER do forever warrant and defend the right title and interests free and clear of incumbrances whatever against all ???? and have said all of my right, title and interests to my son WILLIAM CONNER and his wife and son JAMES WRIGHT CONNER to them to have and to hold forever in witness my hand and seal the day and date first above mentioned.
