Petition for Partition of Land

Ordered that Solomon Cherry Junr, John Watson, Allen
Williams, William Byrum and Thomas Casper, be & they
are hereby appointed commissioners to divide the Land
of Jacob Garrett, decd. and that they make return to
next court.

pole on the NW corner; Clarks & 24 pole, Stones line
and Bazemores line on the west.]

In obedience to the annexed order, We the Subscribers
have met on the premises and Divided the Lands of
Jacob Garrett decd. amongst his Heirs as follows,
which is represented by the above plott, Lot No. 1 To
Naomi Garrett, Lott No. 2 To Nancy Garrett.  No 3 to
Mary Lawrence and is to receive from No. 4 Twentysix
Dollars to make it equal.  No. 4 to Rachell Garrett
and pays as above stated.  No. 5 to Jacob Garrett, No.
6 David Garrett, all of which we consider as Equal
Except No. 3 & 4 as above mention___________Given
under our hands and seals This 9th Decr. 1814.

Arkansas Co Arkansas 1840 census; Deshay Co Arkansas
