To all to whm these presents shall come Fincher HAYNE of Bertie Prec sendeth greeting. Know ye that I the sd Fincher HAYNE for and in consideration of four hundred pounds to me in hand paid by Robert FOSTER of Carolina have bargained and sold to the sd Robert FOSTER one certain plantation and tract or parcel of land lying in Bertie prec on CHOWAN RIVER containing by estimation about eigth hundred ac at a place called PELLY SHORE adjoing on the lands of Samll WILLIAMS being all the lands whereon I now dwell be the same more or less ___? to the known? and usual bounds thereof. Together with all profits, privileges to edifices and appurtenances together with all the stock of catle, horses and hoggs on the sd land and all the above granted premises to him the sd Robert FORSTER his heirs and assignees tohis and them sole use benefit and behoof forever free form the claims and demands of all persons whatsoever which slae I do hereby wattent and coovenant to defend and make good In witness whereof  I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of Nov anno dom 1730.
