Edward Howcott
Deed of Assignment
to John King

Know all men by these presents that I Edward Howcott of the precinct of
aforesaid planter for a valuable consideration of the sum of fourteen 
pounds in hand paid or secured to be paid by John King of Nansemond County 
in Virginia doth hereby assign unto John King aforesiad him his Heirs 
Executors and Administrators forever from me the aforesaid Edward Howcott 
my Heirs Executors Administrators for and all my right title and interest 
of this within mentioned Patent with a warranty . . . (legalese assigning 
to King any claim, title, or interest Edward may have.)

Note:  The patent is not further described in this document.
