Governor, @ do & with the advice and consent the Council of State Accordingly give and grant unto Michael KING, Jr. of Nansemond County, Eighty four Acres of Land adjoining to a Tract Land ????? by old M. KING called Kings Sale in Nansemond County beginning at a marked red oak being a Corner Tree of the aforesaid Old M. KING’S Land and a line Tree of John BRYANT and running Thence along Bryan’s marked Trees Northwesterly forty five degrees Eighty two poles to a Marked pine, Thence North Easterly twenty degrees one hundred and Ten poles to a Marked Gum, Thence North Easterly Sixty eight degrees forty four poles to a Marked pine, Thence South Easterly sixty degrees sixty eight poles to a Marked white oak standing in or nigh M. King’s Line, Thence South Westerly thirty degrees for one hundred sixty six poles by a Very Irregular Line of old Marked Trees of old M. King’s to the first Station, the said Land being due unto The Said Michael KING, Jr. by and for the Transportation of Two persons into This Colony all whose names are in the records mentioned under this patent, To have and to hold his @ to be held @ yielding and paying @ provided.
