Know ye that we the said Comifsioners in pursuance of an act of afsembly pafsed at Newbern on the third day of November one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven by virtue of the power and authority to us given thereby and also for and in consideration of the sum of two pounds five shillings proclamation money to the afore sd Commifsioners for the said Town in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sell, aliened, afsigned and set over and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, afsign and set over unto Agnefs Moore of said Town one lot an half acre of ground being part of the said land contained in the plan of said Town and is known and distinguished by the Number of 146, one hundred and forty six. To have and to hold the said lot an half acre of ground to the said Agnefs Moore, her heirs and afsigns forever, together with all rights, privileges and appurtinences thereto belonging with sufficient ____? on the remaining part of the said land belonging to said Town and all other profits and benefits thereto belonging and appertaining and not taken up by any other persons and also right of Commionage and we the said Commifsioners for ourselves, our heirs and succefsors do covenant, grant, promise and agreed to and with the said Agnes Moore her heirs and afsigns in manner and form following (Tract is to say) that the said Agnefs Moore, her heirs and afsigns shall and may peasably and quietly have and hold, use and occupy property and enjoy the before mentioned lot with all and singular the appurtenances hereunto belonging without any manner of interruption, eviction, molestation of us the said Commifsioners, our heirs, or sucefsors or any of us or any other persons whatsoever; provided that the said Agnefs Moore, his heirs and afsigns shall build, erect or cause to be built or erected on the said lott a tenantable house not lefs in domenfiary than sixteen feet square without shed or _______? with a brick chimney within years after the date of these presents and shall also clear the said lot from all woods under woods brick and greater than this deed of grant sale or conveyance to stand and be of full force and for her or their nonperformance of the ___? mentioned clauses in the Deed the whole is to be void and to be of none effect.
