Between James MORRIS of FLAGG RUN Chappell in Bertie county Province of North Carolina of the one part and Aaron ELLIs of the said Chappell County of Province, Gent of the other part. Witnesseth that he the said for in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds sterling to him the said James MORRIS doth hereby acknowledge and doth hereby for himself his heirs Exes and Adm acquit the said Aaron ELLIS his heirs Exeor Adm and assigns of every farthing of the said forever hath hargained, sold, aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain, sell, alien and confirm unto the said Aron ELLIS his heris and assigns forever one hundred acres of land with all buildings thereon and profits, priviledges and advantages thereto belonging.to have and to hold the said hundred acres of land more or less, lying in Bertie county aforesaid, and bounded by Mr George HOUSE's land on the East bounds by a pine thence along the patent line one hundred pole to a pin in said line the W120 pole a line of marked trees to David HARRELL's line, a pine thence along the said line to the first station. With all profits, priviledges and advantages these to belonging to him the said Aaron ELLIS his heirs and assigns forever. And the said James MORRIS covenants with the said Aaron ELLIS that he the said James MORRIS hath a legal right to sell the said land and profits and priviledges theseto belonging, and that the whole and every part theseof, shall forever remain to the said Aaron ELLIS his heirs and assigns free and clear from all former grants, abrgains, sales, mortgages and demands whatsoever, womans dowers excepted and also excepting quitrents and all leases and damages on account of quitrents. In witness whereof he the said James MORRIS hath hereunto in the presence of proper witnessess, set his hand and seal and delivered this deed ina proper manner for the uses herein mentioned onthe day and year above mentioned.
