The  above  Plan represents Fifty acres of land lying in Bertie County
in  Roquist  pocoson Surveyed July 15th 1786 for Thomas Veal by Virtue
of  a  warrant  No. 88 (or 80) bearing date on the tenth day of August
1778. Beginning at his own corner a Maple in Robert Freemans line then
with  his  line  North  twenty four degrees West Seventy six pole to a
pine  my corner Then North Sixty Seven degrees West along my own line.
Seventy  seven  pole  to  a sweet gum my corner in William Ruffin line
then  South forty seven degrees west along the 50 Ruffins line Seventy
Eight  pole  to four trees in his line two maples a red oak and poplar
then  South  Seventy five degrees East one hundred seventy pole to the
first station.
