No. 320     Know ye that We have granted unto William Cowand Thirty four Acres
of Land in Bertie County.  Beginning on the main run of Wills quarter Swamp in
the mouth of Spring branch then up the various courses of the main run of the
said branch eighteen pole to a Gum, then down the edge of Wills quarter Swamp
North eighty eight West thirty two pole, then South ten West twelve pole, then
South seventy four West thirty six pole, then South twenty nine pole West ten
pole, then South eight East twenty pole, then South seventy seven West twenty
two pole, then South fifty two West twenty six pole, then South forty three West
forty pole, then South forty three West fourteen pole, then South nineteen West
twelve pole, then South three East sixteen pole, then South forty seven West
thirty one pole to the Center of two beeches & Hornbeam in Saml Rayner's line,
then along his line North fifty four West fourteen pole to two Sweet Gums on the
main run of Will's quarter Swamp, then up the Various Courses of the said run to
the first station To Hold to the said William Cowand his heirs and assigns for
ever Dated the 27th March 1802.
