Planter the receipt of which I hereby acknowledge have bargained & sold and by these presents do fully, freely, clearly & absolutely give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, enscoss release convey confirm assign and sett over unto him the sd. Thos. Perry his Heirs & assigns forever all that part of a tract of Land Situate & lying & being in Bertie Co. aforsd. which Land contains by Estimation Fifty acres more or less bounded (to Wit) Beginning at the Head of the Spring Branch then running down the sd. branch to a corner tree on Ryans line then running a south west course bounded on Ryans line to a Hickory a corner tree then Northwest course bounded on Stevenses Line to a corner tree bounded on Wm. Ashleys line & from thence to the first Station. To have & to hold the aforesd. tract or parcell of Land with all & Singular the Rights Priviledges commodities Hereditaments appurtenances & appendants thereunto belonging or in anyways appertaining to him the sd. Thos. Perry his heirs & assigns forever to his & their only sole use benefit & behoof forever in as full & ample manner to all Intents & purposes of the most Learned in the Law can devise against the Lawfull claims of all or any other person or persons whatsoever. I hereby promise to Warrent Secure Maintain & defend the said tract or parcell of Land & premises unto him the sd. Thos. Perry his heirs & assigns forever. In Witness whereof I the sd.
