Witnesseth that the sd. Abraham Perry for and in consideration of the Sum of one Thousand five hundred pounds Current money of the sd. State to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged & himself therewith fully satisfy'd & paid Hath given granted bargained & sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell unto the sd. Thomas Mewborn his heirs & assigns forever one certain tract or parcell of Land Containing one Hundred acres Situate lying & being in Bertie County aforesd. Butted & bounded as follows to Wit beginning at a pine formerly Mr. Henderson's corner then Running No. 100 pole to a Pine then East 160 pole to a Pine then South 100 pole to a Pine then West 160 pole to the first Station which said tract or parcel of Land being part of a tract of Land which the said Perry purchased of Benjamin Stone Senr. containing three Hundred & twenty acres more or less as the deed will make at charge appear and also all Lands trees Woods Profits commodities & appurtenances Whatsoever to the said tract or parcell of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the sd. Thomas Mewborn his Heirs & assigns forever and all the Estate Right title Interests claims & Demands whatsoever of him the sd. Abraham Perry of in & to the sd. tract or parcell of one Hundred acres of Land & every part thereof. To Have & to Hold the Said tract or parcell of Land with all & Singular the above Mentioned premises & every part & parcell thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Thomas Mewborn his heirs & assigns forever and the said Abraham Perry for himself his heirs Executors Admrs & assigns the said tract or parcell of Land & premises & every part thereof free & clear of & from all Incumbrances Whatsoever against him & his heirs & against all & every other person or persons whatsoever to the sd. Thomas Mewborn his Heirs & assigns Shall & will Warrant & forever defend by these presents. Witness whereof the sd. Abraham Perry hath hereunto set his Hand & seal the day & year first above Written.
