Greeting in our Lord God Everlasting. Know ye that I, Abraham Perry of Bertie County and State of North Carolina, Planter, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds current money to me in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith full satisfied, containted, and paid, have given, granted and by these presents do freely, fully and absolutely give, grant, Bargain, Sell, alien, convey, and Confirm unto Mary Robinson of the County and State aforesaid, one hundred and fifty Acres of land, Lying and being in Bertie County aforesaid. Butted and Bounded as followeth ~ Beginning on Col. James Campbell's line thence along his line to a pine in Solomon Stones' line, thence along his line to a pine Stones' Corner Tree, thence running a line of Marked trees to a gum in Gum Branch, thence along said Gum Branch to Waltons' line, thence along Walton's line to a poplar in Eastermoste Swamp, thence down said Swamp to Pollok's line, thence along Pollok's line to the first Station, To have and to hold the said Granted and Bargained Premises with all appertanances, priviledges and commodoties to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to her the said Mary Robinson, her heirs and assigns forever, and further I, the said Abraham Perry, do covenant, promise, Grante, and agree to and with the said Mary Robinson, her heirs and assigns forever, that before the Ensealing and Delivering hereof, I am the true, sole, and lawfull owner of the said land and have in myself good rightfull power and lawfull authority to Bargain and sell the same in manner as above ~ said in fee simple and further, I, the said Abraham Perry, do bind myself, my heirs, Executors, Administrators to warrant and ever Defend the said Granted one hundred and fifty acres of land and plantation unto her the said Mary Robinson her heirs and assigns forever against the Lawfull Claims or Demands of any person or person whatsoever free and clear from all incumbrances of what kind or Nature soever, Quite Rents only excluded.
