Abraham Perry to Mary Robinson

To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come Greeting in our 
Lord God Everlasting. Know ye that I Abraham Perry of Bertie County and State 
of North Carolina Planter for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred 
pounds current money to me in hand paid __ before the Enealing  and Delivery 
hereof the receipt whereof  I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith 
fullsatisfied containted and paid have given granted and by these presents do 
freely fully and absolutely give grant Bargain Sell alien convey and Confrirm 
unto Mary Robinson of the County and State aforesaid, one hundred and fifty 
acres of land Lying and being in Bertie County aforesaid. Butted and Bounded 
as followeth ~ Beginning on Coln. James Campbells line thence along his line 
to a pine in Solomon Stones line, thence along his line to a pine Stones 
Corner Tree thence running a line of Marked trees to a yeaux in Gum Branch, 
thence along said Gum Branch to Halloms line thence along Halloms line to a 
poplar in Eastermoste Swamp thence down said Swamp to Polloks line thence 
along Polloks line to the first Station. To have and hold the said Granted 
and Bargained Premises with all appertaninces priviledges and Commodities to 
the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to her the said Mary Robinson 
her heirs and assigns forever and further I the said Abraham Perry do 
Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with the said Mary Robinson her heirs 
and assigns forever that before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof I am the 
true sole and lawfull owner of the said land and have in myself good right 
full power and lawfull Authority to Bargain and sell the same in manner as 
abovesaid in fee simple and further I the said Abraham Perry do bind myself 
my heirs Executors Administrators to warrent and ever Defend the said Granted 
one hundred and fifty acres of land and plantation unto her the said Mary 
Robinson her heirs and assigns forever against the Lawfull Claims or Demands 
of any person or persons whatsoever free and Clear from all Incumbrances of 
what Kind or Nature soever quit rents only Excepted. In Witness whereof I 
have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seath this 18th day of May 1787.   }

The above Deed from Abraham Perry to Mary Robinson was proved in ordered form 
of law by the oath of Herbert Pritchard one of the subscribing witnesses and 
ordered to be Registered.}
