Abraham Perry to Arlan Perry Robinson


To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come Greeting. Know ye 
that I Abraham Perry of Bertie County and State of North Carolina Planter for 
and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred and fifty pounds Current money 
to me in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof have Given 
Granted and by these presents do freely fully and absolutely give Grant 
Bargain Sell alien Convey and Confirm unto Arlan Perry Robinson his heirs and 
assigns forever, one Certain Tract or parcell of land Containing by 
Estimation three hundred and ninty acres be the same more or less, Situate 
lying and being in Bertie County aforesaid and Bounded as followeth Beginning 
at a pine formerly James Graves Corner tree and from thence along that line 
to Gum Branch and thence down Gum Branch to Polloks former line thence along 
that line to Campbells line a Corner tree thence along Ryans former line to 
the Eastermoste Swamp and thence down the said Eastermoste Swamp to the first 
Station which said Land is part of a Large Tract of land By Pattent bearing 
date May 1668 as may on Record more full appear ~~~~. To have and to hold the 
said three hundred and ninty acres of land and Improvements with all 
appertenances privileges and commodities to the same belonging or in any wise 
appertaining to him the said Arlan Perry Robinson his heirs and assigns 
forever and further I the said Abraham Perry do Covenant promise Grant and 
agree to and with the said Arlan Perry Robinson that before the Ensealing and 
Delivery hereof I am the true sole and lawfull owner of the said Land and 
have in myself Good right full power and Lawfull Authority to Bargain and 
sell the same in manner as above said in fee simple and further I the said 
Abraham Perry do Bind myself my heirs Executors Administrators and assigns to 
warrant and ever Defend the said three hundred and ninty acres of land and 
Improvements unto him the said Arlan Perry Robinson his heirs and assigns 
forever against the lawfull Claim or Demands of any person or persons 
whatsoever free and Clear from all Incumberances of what Kind or nature so 
ever Quit Rents only Exempted. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand 
and affixed my seal 
this 18th day of 1787.  }

The within Deed from Abraham Perry to Arlan Perry Robinson was proved in due 
form of law by the oath of Robert Hendry one of the Subscribing and Ordered
