Grant to John Perry for 600 Acres

"George the Second, etc…, 

Know ye, etc…, that we, etc…, have given unto John
Perry six hundred acres of Land in Bertie County,
Joining on the E. side of Barbaque Swamp. Beginning
at a Cypress called Badham’s corner, running So. 60
Et. 310 poles to a pine, thence So. 30 Wt. 310 poles
to a pine, thence No. 60 Wt. 310 poles to a cypress
in the swamp, thence along the swamp No. 30 Es. 310
poles to the first Station. To have and to hold, etc.

Dated the 6th day of March 1740.
