*John Rice et als Deed to Abisha Bazemore

This Indenture made this Tenth day of March in the year of our Lord
1843, between John Rice David Rice & David Rice for James Rice of
Kentucky of the one part and Abisha Bazemore of the other part all of
the county of Bertie & State of North Carolina _ Witnesseth that the Said
John Rice, David Rice & David Rice for James Rice, for and in consideration
of the Sum of Twelve Dollars hath bargained and by these presents doth
grant, bargain and Sell to the Abisha Bazemore his heirs and assigns
forever all our rite and title in a certain track of land to wit lying on the
East Side of Wattom Swamp Known as the David Fleetwood land, and we
the Said John Rice & David Rice doth agree hereby to warrant and forever
defend the right and title to him the Said Abisha Bazemore his heirs and
assigns forever In Wit_ where of we have hereunto set our hands and Seals
the day and year above written
