 6 Oct. 1769, THOMAS ROGERS of Bertie, N. C. to WILLIAM HURST, JR. of same, 
for 45 pounds, a tract containing 300 acres on W. side of Ballikick Swamp and 
on Everett's Swamp adjoining PETER MAY, excepting 100 acres he previously sold 
of tract to TITUS LEGGETT. THOMAS ROGERS (Seal) Witnesses: THOMAS HURST, 
ELIZABETH LATHFIELD, WILLIAM HARDIE.
