Oct. 6 1769 - THOMAS ROGERS to WILLIAM HURST, both of Bertie County, and state 
of North Carolina for 45 pounds sells a tract of land on West side of 
Ballikick Swamp and on Everet's Swamp adjoing PETER MAY, excepting 100 acres 
he previously sold of tract to TITUS LEGETT, about 300 acres. Signed THOMAS 
ROGERS. Witnesses: THOMAS HURST, ELIZABETH LOTHFIELD, WILLIAM HARDIE.
