BERTIE COUNTY Slave Bill of Sale - Smith -1830 File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Molly Urquhart #1 Be it known that I, Abraham Smith, Executor of Silas Smith, deed for and in consideration of the sum of sixty one dollars, have sold unto Wilie Smith a certain Negro girl named Eady about three years of age and I do warrant and defend the right and title of the said Negro unto him the said Wilie Smith - his heirs and assigns so far as executor I am authorized no further given my hand and seal this 28th day of June 1830.
