Edmond WICKINS JOHN WICKINS seal Signed sealed and delivered in the psence of us John GRAY=James MILLIKIN Bertie prect February Court 1728/9. The within written deed of sale was ack in open court by Edmond and John WICKINS in due form of law, which on motion is ord to be Regist and is Regt. Test Ed Mashburne Clk Note that WIGGANS is spelled WICKENS. I don't know if this is father Edmond or son that married Olive. Fincher HAYNE was named on another deed with or adj BRYANT, I am waiting for that information, to see if Wm is near Fincher. There was an older Edmond WICKENs that was in the book by John BODDIE called "17th Century Isle of Wight VA". Edmond was mentioned in real early years like 1670. So, the above John and Edmond may be his sons who inherited the land they sold Fincher. ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
