Veale Bertie County North Carolina Deed Book KK Page 59 This Indenture made this the Twentysixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty three between Theopholas Williams of the County of Bertie and the State of North Carolina of the one part and Richard J. Veale of the Same State and County aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the Said Theopholas Williams for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid to the Said Theopholas Williams by the Said Richard J. Veale the receipt where of the Said Theophilus Williams doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained and Sold and by these presents doth bargain Sell alleen enffoff and confirm unto the Said Richard J. Veale a certain piece, parcel or tract of Land Situate lying and being in the County and State aforesaid adjoining the lands of Richard J. Veale H.H. Hardy and others it being a part of the tract of Land that belong to Elijah Williams containing by estimation fifty Acres be it the same more or less it being all of his the said Theophilus Williams interest in the Lands of his father Elijah Williams owned or possessed in Bertie County to have hold and enjoy the aforesaid granted and bargained premises to the only use of him the Said Richard J. Veale his heirs and Assigns forever together with all the rite title and interest witch the Said Theophilus Williams have or claim to the aforesaid granted and bargained premises and he the Said Theophilus Williams for himself his heirs and assigns doth covenant to and with the Said Richard J. Veale to warrant defend and forever Secure the above premises to the only use and behoof of him the Said Richard J.
