Sir:
The above Gentlemen are appointed as above officers of the Bertie Regiment of 
Militia with this distinction that Mr. Wm Knott is Senst for John Wolfendon, 
Absalom Knott, his Ensing;
Wm Davis Sent and Christian Reed, Ensign to the Compy [company] under my 
command. You will oblige me by procuring the Commissions  -
