ALPHUS THOMAS BAUGHAM

A.T. BAUGHAM
AULANDER – A. T. Baugham, 73, died at his home near here Tuesday afternoon after 
a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant 
Grove Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. William P. Milne of Ahoskie. Burial 
will be in the family cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia Outland 
Baugham; seven sons, Herbert Lee, of Potecasi, Jode of Franklin, Va., Ralph, 
Rufus and Wayland of Aulander, Edgar and Alphus of the home; two daughters, Mrs. 
Claude Martin of Potecasi and Mrs. Clifton Joyner of Woodland; two sisters, Mrs. 
Luther Knight of Aulander and Mrs. Fannie Hall of Ahoskie; and four brothers, 
Arthur of Newsoms, Va., Craig and George of Ahoskie, and Judd Baugham of 
Aulander. The body will lie in state at the church an hour before the service.
