Thurs., Sept. 28, 1809, Raleigh Minerva

DIED, a few days ago, in Bertie County, WILLIAM CHERRY, ESQ., an attorney at 
law, and one of the members elect of the state legislature. He was a young man 
of the most endearing manners. He was represented to be superior in point of 
mind to any of his age in the Southern States.
