MIZELL DeFORD Mrs. A. R. DeFord Funeral services for Mrs. Arrillia R. DeFord were held Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock at the residence 426 Jackson Street conducted by Dr. J. G. Truitt, Dr. I. W. Johnson and the Rev. H. G, Councill. A duet composed of Mrs. J. G. Truitt and Miss Julia Brinkley, accompanied by Mrs. I. W. Johnson, rendered the selection "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” There were many beautiful floral tributes; the casket being covered with a pall of lilies and white asters. Active pallbearers were H. E. Bruce, J. W. Brinkley, J. C. McCotter, Sr„ O. F. Story, W. C. King, Willie Duke, John Freeman and Charlie Atkinson. Honorary’ pallbearers were friends of the family. Interment was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
