Died: October 13, 2015
   Franklin - Lessie Tillery Edwards, 92, passed away October 13, 2015. Mrs. 
Edwards was born in Bertie County, NC and was a daughter of the late Linwood 
David Tillery and Lessie Taylor Tillery. She was the widow of Emerson Rudolph 
Edwards and was predeceased by her brothers, Cecil, Henry, Julian and Hubert and 
her sisters, Marie Hancock, Bea Halsey, Beverly Johnson, Kitty Daughtrey and 
Elleise Hancock.
   She was a member of Sedley Baptist Church and had been a volunteer at the East 
Pavilion for 28 years.
  Survivors include two daughters, Patricia McGuire (Joe) and Cilda Edwards, two 
grandchildren, Daniel McGuire (Denise) and Melissa McGuire Vaughan (Keith), two 
great grandchildren, Kelly Ann Vaughan and Brandon Vaughan.
   A graveside funeral will be held at 2PM Thursday October 15, 2015 at Rosemont 
Cemetery, Sedley with the Rev. James Foreman officiating. The family will receive 
friends from 7 to 8PM today (Wednesday) at Wright Funeral Home and suggests that 
memorial donations be made to the Hunterdale Fire Dept. or Sedley Baptist Church.
