Mrs. Harriet Hoggard, wife of our countyman, Mr. Richard Hoggard, died Saturday.
She was about seventy five year old and had been a consistent member of
Republican Baptist church for more than 50 years.

Note: 1880 census. Lived in Snakebite. Children in household: William 23, Laurah
20, Benny 18 (son), John N.14.  Richard 50, Harriet 60
