Miss Margaret Lane's Father Stricken Sat. In
Aulander

Miss Margaret Lane's father died Saturday
afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home in
Aulander.  He had been an invalid for the
past two years.  Surviving are his wife and
four children, a daughter and a son at the
home, another son who lives in Aulander and
Miss Margaret Lane, who has headed the
business department of Mitchell College for
several years.

Funeral services for Mr. Lane were held this
afternoon and interment was in the family
burying ground.  Miss Lane left Saturday
evening for her home.
