All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Margaret Simmons dasia88@yahoo.com July 4, 2004, 9:52 pm currituck county obituary James Alline Baum ''Alline''son of Britt Annie Baum and the late Willam Sherman Baum was born March 3,1935.He departed this life on Wednesday,February 14,2001 at the Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City,North Carolina.James Alline was a native of Currituck County.He attended the public schools in Currituck.He was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ.He supported his church and served on the Trustee Board for many years.He was employed with Snow King Jr.Masonry,Norfolk,Virginia and Willie Grandy Farm,Grandy,North Carolina for many years.He was a devoted husband,father,grandfather,great grandfather,brother,uncle,and friend to those that knew him.He loved his family and provided for their comfort.Other survivors include a mother-Britt Annie Baum of Grandy,NC,four sons-Reginald Banks of Grandy,NC,James L Baum (Sandra),Josephus Baum(Juanita)of Elizabeth City,NC and Roudolph Baum(Juliet)of the home.Three daugthers-Margaret Simmons(Ronnie),Erma Jones(Troy),and Ruby White all of Elizabeth City,NC;two brothers-Horace Baum of Poplar Branch,NC and Fred Baum of New Jersey.Twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Three brothers-in-law-James Saunders of Manteo,NC,Limbert Doyal and Ray Evans of Elizabeth City,NC;seven sisters-in-law-Bertie Baum of Grandy,NC,Lola Marie Baum,Mattie Baum of Poplar Branch,NC,Joan Baum of New Jersey,Goldie Evans,Carrie Doyal of Elizabeth City,NC Dora Saunders of Manteo,NC Two aunts-Goldie Ferebee of Newland,NC and Clara Baxter of Brooklyn,NY.Four godchildren-Fred Baum,Jr.,Roosevelt Lee,Jr.,Amecia Charity,Andrea Baum and a host of nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends.
