EDNA W. PARKER

Edna Williams Parker, 76, of Commerce Street, a retired salesclerk, died 
April 5, 1990, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Parker, a native of Bertie County, had retired from Rose's Department 
Store. She was the widow of Lloyd Parker and a member of Aulander Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita P. Davis of Chesapeake; two sisters, 
Margaret Godwin of Ahoskie and Sybil Clary of Roanoke Rapids; a brother, 
O'Max Williams of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Garrett Funeral Home, 
Ahoskie, by the Rev. Robbie Best and the Rev. J. Bradley Mobley. Burial will 
be in Aulander Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
Sunday in the funeral home.
