Linzy M. Ruffin 

Aulander - Linzy Melvin Ruffin died No. 21, 2001 in
Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.  He was born in Bertie
County. 

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Ruffin of Ahoskie; two
sons, Clyde Ruffin of Winton, Linzy "Zeke" Ruffin of
Lewiston; a daughter, Wendy Ruffin-Barnes of Ahoskie; a
sister, Amaza Ruffin of Philadelphia; a grandchild; three
sisters-in-law, Maggie H. Boone of Greensboro, N.C.,
Dorothy H. Walton of Chesapeake, Emma Johnson of
Aulander. 

A funeral was held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Luella Baptist
Church, Lewiston, by the Rev. Lycurgus Harrell.  Burial
will followed in Sandy Branch Baptist Church.  Reynolds
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
