LIZZIE SMALLWOOD

"Lizzie Smallwood, 87, of 1306 South King St., Windsor
died Saturday, May 11, 2002 in Brian Center, Windsor.


She was born July 30, 1914 in Bertie County to the late
Ed and Hallie Ruffin Smallwood.


Survivors include a cousin, Mamie Wiggins, of Lewiston.


A funeral service was held Thursday, May 16, 2002 at 1
p.m. in Cherry's Funeral Chapel, Windsor.  Services were
conducted by Rev. Leroy Douglas. Burial followed in
Hillcrest Cemetery, Windsor.  A visitation was held on
Wednesday, May 15, 2002 from 6 -7 p.m.


Cherry's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
