CORA MINA BYRUM COBURN WRIGHT

   NORFOLK – A funeral service for Mrs. Cora Byrum Coburn Wright of Portsmouth 
and Franklin was held Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin 
Baptist Church.

   Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Pallbearers were George Gardner, William Blythe, W.B. Harper Jr., J.B. 
Newsome, Lester Keech, Howard Blythe and Pete Dunlow.

   A native of Bertie County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Levy and 
Eugene Byrum. She was a Baptist.

   Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Libby Linton of Norfolk, Mrs. Jay Spivey 
of Portsmouth, Mrs. Louise Bohenstiel of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Novadine Posey 
of Freelandville, Ind.; one son, Leroy Coburn of Franklin; eight grandchildren, 
7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
