It was taken before I was born, in the side yard. Standing left to right is: Lewis C.Tynes b. 1898. Next to him should be Franklin Tynes who passed at age 5 months. B. 1902 in Mendham, Morris County, NJ. So, beside Lewis is my grandmother Mary Jane Tynes-Floyd b. 1905 d. 2002. Next to her is Parker Tynes b.1910 d. 1985. Kneeling is Edward Tynes b. 1917 d. 1988. Edward had a twin, his name was Urquhart Woodrow Tynes b. 1917 d. 1919. Urquhart was buried on Tynes land in Roxobel, NC. Franklin was buried in Mendham Cenetery Assc. 4 Hillcrest Ave. Mendham, NJ. 07945. All brothers and one sister. Sitting in a Garden Chair is Gabrella (ELLA) Parker-Tynes. Gabrella and Mary Jane are buried in Edgwood Cemetery, rt. 13 n. of Windsor, Bertie Co. NC. In My possesion are the death certificates and some birth records. Additional Comments: Urquhart W. Tynes Certificate of Death: Place of Death Woodville, NC. Registration District # 8-2043 Cert.# 4. he was 2 yrs. 11 mo. old at death. Parents: DeGrasse Tynes b. 1874 d.1934 Roxobel, NC.
