For the past ten to fifteen years, every year, we have had an annual Aulander 
School reunion, a barbecue dinner from Parker's, the first one catered from 
Wilson & recently from Greenville. No one, who has looked at this picture, has 
been able to recognize any of the people in the picture. My dad took this 
picture.  

I was born in Roanoke Rapids, 14th January 1938, my dad and mom were there 
running a Ben Franklin store with my mother's brother. We moved to Aulander in 
1939. In those days, the baby parade was an annual event. Thus far, I have the 
only picture of the event, in any year, that we have been able to find. Maybe if 
we placed it in a couple of places someone will respond.
