I Nathan Cowand of Bertie County and State of North Carolina Being in perfect mind and memory and knowing my time in this life to be but Short I have a desire to dispose of my property in the following manner (Viz) 1st I leave all my property of Ever Kind to my beloved Wife Nancy Cowand during her widowhood or life time and use as much of my property to Support and School my children as my beloved Wife Nancy Cowand may think proper; 2nd Itom my will & desire is that after the death or widowhood of my wife is that all my property Should be Sole and Equealy devided between my Wife and three Children named Phebe. C. Cowand Robert. A. Cowand and Nancy. A. Cowand if She should marry, and if She Should not marry I leave my property to be Sold and Equeal devided betwen my three Children above named - lastly I constitute and appoint my wife Nancy Cowand Excutor to my last will and Testament I do hereby disallow and disannul and Revoke all others will or wills in any wise before me maid Ratifyin and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament in witness where of I have unto Set my hand and Seal this Fourth day of November One Thousand Eight Hundred & thirty three - Sined Sealed and deliverd in the present of us.
