Written: 1795

Glisson, Ann, will date 4 May (1795), proved Aug Ct 1795; In the name of God
Amen I Ann Gliston of the County of Bertie... being of sound and perfect mind
and memory blessed be God... first my (land) to be sold at the discretion of my
executors either at public or private sale and the rest of my property
consisting of cattle, hogs, horses & household furniture to be sold at public
sale; item I give and bequeath unto my two children ( Gliston) and Right
Gliston... all the money arising from my estate bonds notes and accounts to be
equally divided between them share and share alike and if either of my two
children should die before they reach the age of twenty one then I give all my
estate to the one that survives; I appoint my trusty friends Arthur Jernigan and
(Noah Thompson) executors of my will, signed Ann Gliston (X), wit (Lela Glisson,
William Thompson (X), proved by (Lela Glisson). Abstracted 23 Apr 08 from
