Dated September 13th, 1807

Probated November Term 1807

"September the 13th, 1807

It is my desire that after my debts are finally
adjusted for my property to remain together until
one of my children shall arrive to lawfull age and
then for him to take off his proportionate part and
continue so to use until they all arrive to be of
lawfull age except in case of the marriage of my
wife then it is my desire for her to have her legal
share as soon as may be convenient. It is my wish
that my brother William W. Johnston, William
Thompson and my cousin James Johnston should
undertake to settle my business and also be guardian
to my children.
