                        [THE WILL OF ANDREW OLIVER]

In the Name of God Amen  I Andrew Oliver being Very Sick & low in body but of
perfect & disposing Mind & Memory Calling to Mind the Mortallity of the body &
Knowing that it  is Appointed for all men Once to die, do make & ordain
this my
last will & Testament in a Manner & form Following -- Principally & first of
all I Recommend My Soul In to the hand of almighty God that gave it, & my body
I Recommend to the Earth to be Enterd in a decent Christian like Manner at the
descretion of my Executor hereafter Mentioned -- & as to what Worldly Estate
Estate [sic] that it hath pleased God to bless me in this World I Give &
dispose of the same as follows ----
Its my Will & desired that all my Just Debts & Funeral Charges be Discharged
out of Estate
Item  I Give And bequeath to my beloved Daughter Sarah Moore One Negroe boy
Named Isaac One Negroe boy Named Ceasar & one Negroe Girl Named Silvey or as
Much Money to be Raised Out of my Estate as will be Sufficient to Purchase a
Girl of Equal Value, which She Chooses, to her & her heirs for Ever --
Thirdly its my Will & desire that all the Residue of My Moveable Perisable &
Personal Estate After my Just debts are Satisfyd be Equally divided between my
beloved Wife Mary Anne Oliver & my five Children Viz Sarah Moore, John Oliver,
Andrew Oliver, James Oliver, & David Oliver According to law in that Case Made
& provided ---
John, Andrew, James & David Oliver all My lands to Equally Divided between
them
Share & Share Alike Reserving to my beloved Wife her Dower According to law to
them their heirs & assigns for Ever
Fifthly & lastly I Constitute Ordain & appoint my beloved Friend Thomas
Collins
My hole & Sole Executor to this my last will & Testament, with full power to
sell or Dispose of Any part of My Estate for the Purpose of discharging my
Debts, as he shall Judge M... for the Bennefit of my Children without
Regard to
Any Particular form of Law -- but to Act with the same as if it were his Owen,
paying a Regard to [here appears the word "my" in superscript with a ^ beneath
it] Will before Mentioned, & I do hereby Revoke, Disanull [sic] & Disallow all
former Wills & Testaments by me heretofore Made Ratifying & Conforming this
and
No Other to be my last Will & Testament -- in Witness whereof I have hereunto
Set my hand & Seal this 29th day of April 1793
