Feb Term 1844  Kiddy Ruffin to the Court
Ordered that Isaac P. Freeman, John L. Britton, Willie D.
Hays, Howell M. Jones and John Perry or any three of them
lay off to the petitioner her year's provision out of the
Estate of her dec'd husband Whitmel Ruffin and that they
make return to our next  County Court.  John L. Taylor,
Clerk.

In obedience to the annexed order, we the commissioners after being duly sworn proceeded on the 2nd day of April 1844 to view the estate of Whitmel Ruffin dcd and out of the lay off and allot to the petitioner Christian Ruffin her years support, as follows:

lay of and allot to the petitioner Christian Ruffin her
year's support as follows:

After valuing the Estate we find a deficiency of forty two dollars and 7
cents ($42.07) all of which we submit and given under our hands and seals.

Note:They determined what Kitty needed then put a value to what she had.  Then, made their concluding statement.
