010.801.6 Obediah Sowell 1803 

Obediah Sowells Last Will and Testament  In the name of
God Amen November the Twenty Second one Thousand Eight
Hundred and Three I Obediah Sowell am weak in Body and
Health.  But sound in mind and memory Blessed be God and
do make and ordain this my Last and Testament -----------


First of all I recommend my sole in the Hand of Almighty
God to deal as he sees fit.  My Body to the dust of the
Earth to be Buried in a Christian Like manner by the care
of my Executors------ 

Itam I give and bequeth unto my Daughter Mary Daniel Five
Shillings Sterling After her mothers death to her the
said Mary Daniel Her Heirs and Forever --------- 

Itam I give and bequeth unto my son Obediah Sowell Five
shillings sterling after his mothers death to him his
Heirs and forever ---------

Itam I give and bequeth unto my son Ezekiel Sowell Fifty
acres of land wheron he now lives to him the said Ezekiel
to him and his forever. Itam I give and bequeth unto my
daughter Sarah Cowand five shillings sterling after her
mothers death to her and forever.  

Itam I give and bequeth unto my daughter Nancey Sowell
one fether bed and furniture to her the said Nancy and
forever. 

Itam I give and bequeth unto my daughter Winifred Sowell
one fether bed and furniture to her the sd Winifred and
forever.  Itam I give and bequeth unto my two younger
sons John Sowell and Isaac Sixty acres of land where I
now live after the death of their mother to be equaly
divided not interrupting their mother during her natural
life 

----I leave my young horse to be sold to pay my just
debts and Funeral Charges. I likewise leave all my Lands
Household! s goods and chattles to my Dearlibeloved Wife
Ann Sowell during her widdowhood and after her dec'd to
be equaly divided between my three younger children John
Sowell Winifred Sowell and Isaac Sowell 

-------Last of all I appoint and ordain my son Ezekiel
Sowell and my Wife Ann Sowell Executors of this my Last
will and testament which I do this day confirm this and
no other of older date to but this an no other to be my
Last will and testament signed sealed Pronounced and
Delivered to be my last will and testament.  As witness
my hand and seal this day and year above written.
