E Pp.218-219 Written: June 1, 1803 Recorded: November 1803 In the name of God Amen, I Elizabeth Tunstall of Bertie County & State of North Carolina, being sick but of perfect mind --- do make this my last will & Testament in manner & form following. Impremit I give and bequeath unto my son Peyton R. Tunstall the land which I now hold on Roanoak river to him & heirs & assigns forever but it is my desire that my son Peyton pay to my son William Tunstall one thousand dollars in lieu of my not giving him any of the R. tract of land. Item. I give to my son George Tunstall one negro by the name of Henry to him & his heirs & assigns. Item. I give to my daughter Elisth. Pugh one negro girl by the name of Silva to her her heirs & assigns. Item. I give to my daughter Lucy Williams one negro girl by the name of Melah to her her heirs & assigns. Item. I give to my son James Tunstall the following slaves old Daniel & his wife An & their three children Miley Phebe & Penne also Rachel & her son little Harry & Nel & her son Phill them & their increase from this date to him & his heirs & assigns. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Richd. Tunstall the following negroes Benny & his son Washington, Isaac Billy Viney & their two children Patrick & Philip and also a negro boy named Ned them & their increase from this date to him his heirs & assigns forever. Item. I bequeath to my Grandaughter Ruth V Tunstall daughter of Edmd. Tunstall of Virginia one negro girl by the name of Anne daughter of Viney to her her heirs & assigns forever. Item. I give and bequeath to my two sons James & Richard Tunstall all my right title interest & claim in & to a certain tract or parcel of land now in dispute between my Father's heirs D Blake B Wiggert to them their heirs & assigns forever. Lastly I nominate & appoint my three sons Peyton James & Richard Tunstall Executors to this my last will & testament in witness whereof I have set my hand & Seal this 1st day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & three.
