In the name of God Amen
I Arthur West being very sick and weak but in perfect sense and memory 
thanks be to God for the same first I recommend my soul to allmighty God 
that gave it. Hoping in Jesus Christ to receive pardon and forgiveness for 
all my sins. Secondly I give my body to the earth from whence I came and to 
be buried in a Christian manor. 
First I give unto Robert West son of Henry West one hundred and eighty acres 
of land lying and being on the north side of Fishing Creek. 
Secondly I give unto Nathaniel Hickman one hundred ________ acres of land 
lying and being on the same side of Fishing Creek. 
Thirdly I give unto my brother Joseph West two cows and calves. 
Fourthly I give unto my sister Mary West one cow and one calf and the rest 
to my Loving wife Mary West to be sole executrix of the remainder of my 
estate and so thou Lord _____ my______ hand and seal. Amen
