PRUDENCE WILLIAMS - dated -- Nov. 1799; probated Nov. 1805, after being
disputed. Mentioned deed of gift from father Joseph Jordan, 25 Feb.
1770, to me his daughter Prudence, & my then husband Abraham Maer;
present husband Benjamin Williams. Sd husband Abraham Maer made his will
26 Jan. 1780 ("he & I having several Children born in lawful wedlock
that are now alive"), & devised to two sons Samuel and Wm Maer ("two of
our said Children"). Signed by name. Wits.: Thos. RYAN, Thos. Ed. HARE,
Wm JORDAN. Affidavit of sd Prudence Williams made 15 Nov. 1800 re:
foregoing will.
