Item 1st I give and bequeath Unto my Son William B. Williford One Tract of Land generally known by the name of the Stallions tract and containing about Eight hundred acres lying upon Beaverdam Swamp and upon which he now lives likewise one Negro girl by the name of Mariah to him and his heirs forever Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah wife of Asa Earley One Negro girl by the name of Tempy likewise One Hundred and Twenty give dollars to her and her heirs forever— Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary wife of William Wynns the sum of ten dollars likewise one Negro Woman Rene and her two children Drew and Nancy to her and her heirs forever— Item 4th I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Nancy wife of George Williams One Negro girl by the name of Harriett to her and her heirs forever-- Item 5th I give and bequeath Unto my Daughter Adeline Two Girls and one boy (Viz) Cherery Martilla nd Boyt to her and her heirs forever— Item 6th I give and bequeath Unto my Daughter Elizabeth wife of Benjamin Porter Louisa and Jenny and their heirs forever— Item 7th I give and bequeath Unto my Son Jethro B. Williford the sum of One Hundred dollars to him and his heirs forever— Item 8th I give and bequeath unto my Son Richard F. Williford one Negro Girl by the name of Bershaba and one Negro boy by the name of Gaston to him and his heirs forever— Item 9th I give and bequeath unto my Son John Williford one Negro Man by the name of Ben and one Negro Girl by the name of Mary to him and his heirs forever— Item 10th I lend unto my Wife Polly Williford four Negro men by the names of George Jim Arthur and Isaac and Negro Woman by the name of Penny and her two Children Loisa and Carolina and the Plantation on which I live with the Place Known by the name of the Wm. Cook Plantation her natural life or wiow hood then to belong unto my son John Williford and his heirs forever— Item 11th I give and bequeath uno my daughter Ophelia Williford One Tract of Land known by the name of the Thomas Earley Land and other tract adjoining known as by the name of the John Earley Land – and another tract by the name of the Ben Earley Tract Likewise one Negro Woman by the name of Rhoda and her two children Gillian and Andrew to her and her heirs forever— Item 12th It is my Will and desire that the Negroes that I Lent to my wife that after her decease to be Equally divided between all my Children also it is my will and desire that all my stock of Cattle Hogs & sheep my household and kitchen furniture and all the other Untensels belonging to husbandry be equally divided among all my children to them and their heirs forever— Item 13th It is my will and desire that all the Land not mentioned or given away to be sold and the money arising from the sale of the Land to go to pay my just debts and if any surplus left to be Equally divided among my Children them and their heirs forever— Item 14th It is my will and desire that all the Negroes not mentioned or given away to be sold and the money arising from the sale of Sd Negroes to be equally divided between all my children them and their heirs forever— Item 14th I also lend Unto my Wife Polly Williford one Negro Boy by the name of Stephen her natural life or widowhood and after her decease to be sold and equally divided among my children to them and their heirs forever— Item 15th It is my Will and desire that my mills be sold and the money arising there from to be Equally divided among my Children to them and their heirs forever— Item 16th It is my will and desire that my Brandy Still be sold and the money arising therefrom to be Equally divided among my Children them and their heirs forever— In testimony whereof I have hereby subscribed my name in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and thirty three and on the 22nd day of May John Williford (seal) Witness Zadock Mitchell Wright Mitchell William D.
