Contributor's Notes:  The following was transcribed from the Neil Chancy & 
Elizabeth Baldwin's Family Bible, by Robert Chancey, October 1999. The bible 
is now in the possession of Mrs. Muriel Chauncey, Clarkton, Bladen County, 
North Carolina.  (Please do not contact her.  She is quite elderly and unable 
to provide additional help).
The Chancy family changed the spelling of the surname from Chancy to 
Chauncey sometime after 1900.


Neil Chancy was born the 7 day of May 1808

Elizabeth Baldwin was born January 14 the (sic) 1809

Mary Baldwin was born Oct the 15th 1816

Frances Ann Chauncey wife of Steven Loyd Chauncey and sons Stephen Loyd Sr. & 
Samuel Bogue Chauncey died Jan 2 1902

Neill Chancy was married the 25th of August 1836 to Elizabeth Baldwin

Elizabeth Chancy was married to Calvin McFarlin the 30 day of August 1860

Stephen L. Chancy was married the 29th of December 1869 to Frances A. Chancy

Frances Ann Chauncy wife of Stephen Loyd Chauncey & sons Stephen Loyd Chauncey 
& Samuel Bogue Chauncey died Jan 2 1902
