Ward were Married on the 20th day of Nov_r 1866 Charles Lesesne and Pauline C. Huggins were married on the 17th June 1865 [this is on the second column] Lumberton Robeson Co., NC [added by my great Aunt Pickett Rebecca Bush] Uncle Geo. Huggins son of Luke B. Huggins born Onslow Co., NC in 1840 - died about 1915 - Jewelry business since 1869 105 Market St. Wilmington NC. lived 412 Market St. [On the other column written by the same author as the Charles Lesesne marr. record is] Uncle Geo marr. Coffeville City Cem.] Pauline C. [Caroline] Huggins was born on the 13th day of December 1844 [On the next column] Lucy Armstrong Lesesne was born on the 23rd day of March 1866 [Ceder Creek, Cumberland Co., NC] Pickett Rebecca Lesesne was born on the 16th day of December 1869 [Ceder Creek Cumberland Co., NC] [The next name is unreadable as I only have a copy now but the dob is March 13 1873. I never heard of this child and it is not mentioned in the accounts later of the orphans of Charles Lesesne it prob. did not live long. Cowan of Bladen Co., NC] departed this life, on the 6th August 1846 age about 63 [Bladen Co., NC] Charlotte Ann Lesesne daughter of James W. & Lucy Ann Lesesne departed this life on the 4th day of August 1842 aged 8 years 6 months 14 days [bn & died Bladen Co., NC] William Cowan Lesesne, oldest son of James W. & Lucy Ann Lesesne, departed this life on the 29th day of September 1850 aged 18 years 43 days [born & died in Bladen Co., NC] Eliza Jane Lesesne youngest Daughter of James W. & Lucy Lesesne departed this live the 6th April 1854 [born & died Bladen Co., NC] Lewis W. [William] Huggins was last on board the Pathfinder on the Mississippi River above Reading before dawn the 9th day of Feb. 1845 [the ship blew up] Julia A. wife of Lewis W. Huggins died Sept. 18th 1850 [buried Coffeeville City Cem., Yalabusha Co., Mississippi] Francis C. Huggins died on the 22ng day of July 1843 [buried Coffeeville City Cem., Yalabush Co., Mississippi] [written by my great Aunt] Pauline Huggins Lesesne died Jan. 8th am 1878 leaving her husband Chas LeSesne M. D. & Four little Daughters the precious mother & wife oh: How we missed her. [died Jacksonville Onslow Co., NC] Charles Lesesne M. D. Dide May 24th 1884 "Always a loving father" [There is a star by his name. This may be because this is the day he was buried & not the day of death. His death was surrounded in scandal which I have the transcripts of the trial of Augustus Huggins for shooting him and the date of death was May 21, 1884, Jacksonville, Onslow Co., NC. It was also reported in the paper and an autopsy was held so I had the exact date. Agustus was cleared of the charges of murder and raised Charles Lesesne's children, two of whom marr. men from Bladen Co., NC] [Charles Lesesne was born in Bladen Co., NC]
