He was the Son of James Faison Jr. Continental Army and Elizabeth 
Henrietta Kilby
 
James III married Mary Hollingsworth born 17  Sep 1763 Bladen Co. NC 
died 19 Sep 1822 Sampson Co. NC - She was the dtr. of Henry & Mary Murrah
 
James & Mary had the following children:
