The Surveryor of said County is hereby directed to survey lay out & admeasure or 
cause to be surveyed & admeasured for Robert Besley one hundred acres of land in 
the County aforesaid -- agreeable to his entry No 13 and dated the 18th of Jany 
1800 Joining Daniel Schaw and his own lines and said survey to be made do you 
return to the secretarys office according to law & this shall be your warrant 
given under my hand this 10th of Nov. 1800

This Plat represents 100 acres of land lying In Bladen County joining Daniel 
Shaw & his own lines beginning at a hickory in Beasleys own line and runs North 
15 P[oles] E 15 chains to a Stake & three pines then North 76 P E 15 Chains to a 
Stake & two pines and a blackjack thence So. 54 P E 17 1/2 Chains to a pine in 
Daniel Shaws line then with his line South 25 P E 14 Chains to a Stake and two 
pines then So. 56 P W 35 Chains to blackjack and three pines near his own line 
then No. 8 P E 13 1/2 Chains to a small pine near his own Corner then a direct 
Course to the Begining [sic]
Surveyed for Robert Beasly the 6th of May 1801
Entered the 18th of January 1800                {signed} Ch. Ivey(?) DS

Transcribed from microfiche printout retrieved from NC State Archives. Robert 
Beasley's land was split by the Bladen/Columbus county line when the latter was 
formed in 1808.
